Description: A19th century print or lithograph dated 1878. The original oil was a
commissioned portrait. Marguerite Charpentier sits beside her son, Paul. At age three, his locks are still uncut and, in keeping with current fashion, he is dressed identically to his sister Georgette, perched on the family dog. Signed “Renoir.78” bottom right corner.
Condition is good, under glass in frame. The name on the plaque, middle bottom of frame is worn off. The frame shows scuffs and edge wear. The back is covered over board and sealed.
